Meet the founders

Sarah Anderson and Austin Coudriet

Sarah and Austin are emerging contemporary ceramic artists driven by a passion to help their community and create art. With over a decade of experience, they have traveled the country and abroad to pursue diverse opportunities in the ceramics field, taking on roles as resident artists, studio managers, gallery managers, visiting artists, and studio technicians. In addition to their extensive skill set, Sarah and Austin have spent the last two years teaching workshops at universities, community centers, and private studios around the world. Through their journeys and collective experiences, they recognized a vital connection between wellness, art therapy, and ceramics. This realization inspired the creation of Dusty Pants Studio—a welcoming third space distinct from work and home. People can gather, create, and fostering a community that celebrates the integration of artistic expression and personal well-being.
